Steve Jacoby
Founder
|
 |
Steve has over 30 years experience
building, renovating and managing residential property. During the 30
years he has lived in Bozeman, he’s built homes with one of Bozeman's
premier homebuilders, become intimate with the challenges of older homes
as a remodeling contractor and managed residential rental property for
numerous clients as well as himself. Along the way he has inspected,
bought, remodeled and sold many properties.
Steve earned two degrees. One in Biological Science and the other in
Physical Sciences. He is currently a member of three national
housing inspection associations, each with demanding standards:
The Housing Inspection Foundation, The American Society of Home
Inspectors, and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
He is a licensed Property Manager in the State of Montana. He is
the founder of MAREI, The Montana Association of Real Estate Inspectors.
He has deep experience in the "hows" and "whys" that
define a building's physical structure. He has observed the effects of
good and poor design, accepted and questionable building practices, and
appropriate and inappropriate maintenance. He has studied these issues
from the "inside" and after the passage of time. Since his
experience spans the realms of new construction, renovation and
maintenance, he has cultivated skills to see and understand the whole
picture. This ability to observe the synergy of a home's systems, with
particular attention to the effects of time, is what good home inspection
is all about.
